How do you avoid safety films feeling like a dull episode of Casualty?
Eurostar asked us to create a series of films to lead their new safety awareness campaign focused on reducing slips, trips and falls both onboard and in stations. In particular, the client team wanted to avoid the usual po-faced corporate safety drama to ensure that employees and customers would take notice. To achieve this, we recommended using animation.
Animation provided a lightness of touch whilst also being visually memorable
We developed an animation style inspired by the brand that, in conjunction with a wry script, produced a series of films that were informative, memorable and fun. The films success lead to a reduction in slips, trips and falls and picked up a few awards en route as well.
