To support the launch of their report, ‘The Value of a Social Tenancy’, Hyde wanted to bring four of their tenants’ stories to life in an emotive and informative way, both at the report’s launch event and online. Each story would focus on a particular benefit of social tenancies to wider society.
The films were well received at the House of Commons launch event and are being rolled our across Hyde’s digital channels as well as being used internally as part of the company’s induction process.
We suggested a creative documentary approach, which would allow us to both tell each tenant’s story and visually depict their environments in an interesting and unexpected way that would grab viewer attention. Simple, bold captions were used to highlight key pieces of information and important statistics from the report.
We created four 1 minute tenant story films, each with a slightly different focus, from disability to recovery from addiction to improving the living environment.
To support the campaign, we created a suite of short 15-30 second edits for release across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
